New Housing Developments

Kettering is fairly unique in that it is exceeding its housing growth targets in terms of delivery. This in part reflects the ambitions of the local Councils and partners in responding to the opportunities the growth agenda offers. However, it also reflects the attractiveness of the area and the development opportunities on offer.

Although adequate provision is being made for social housing, higher quality 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses remain a focus and these are being built to high design and environmental standards, backed by planning policy. The local Council is working closely with developers to help them and offers pre-planning application advice to help speed up the process.

The town is also home to high value housing with key streets and addresses providing the home to more luxurious 4 and 5 bedroom executive housing. Kettering’s central location, excellent transportation links and rapidly expanding business community is helping to drive housing development across the spectrum of housing supply.

The new Market Place development in the town centre is witnessing the development of luxury apartments with basement level parking.
