The Northamptonshire Heritage Awards 2011 celebrate achievement in museums and heritage across the county.
Play your part in the decision making this year by voting for your favourite Northamptonshire museum, historic house or heritage centre to scoop the ‘People’s Choice Award 2011’
Past winners of the ‘People’s Choice Award’ include The Canal Museum, Desborough Heritage Centre, Sulgrave Manor and Kettering Museum and Art Gallery. This year in all, 13 museums, historic houses and heritage centres are competing for the coveted gong this year so check out the contenders detailed below and register your vote.
Still unsure of your favourite? Tune in to the John Griff show on BBC Radio Northampton between 2-4pm throughout May and June for features on each of the 10 challengers for a bit of history to help make up your mind.
Votes can also be sent using paper forms available from all participating museums. Please note only one vote per voter will be registered and the closing date for voting is Friday June 3 2011.
