Kettering is one of the fastest growing towns in the Country. The next stage of major improvements has just been completed, focusing on the Horsemarket, Market Street, Sheep Street and Northampton Road. This follows the completion of the award winning Market Place and the emergence of the new Restaurant Quarter.
Around £10 million is currently being invested in Kettering’s town centre. As a Partnership, we are committed to attracting funding from outside of the Borough and minimising the cost to local council taxpayers.
The improvements to Kettering town centre will help attract more shoppers and retailers to the town. The works now complement the rich heritage of the town and make it a distinctive and fun place to be.
The project has included work to Horsemarket, Market Place and the restaurants, Sheep Street and Northampton Road / Northfield Avenue and will make for a better shopping experience this Christmas.
